Imaging Services

UMS is now pleased to offer O-scan Extremity MRI at our 430 N 400 W location in Salt Lake City. This open designed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment provides a quicker, more convenient, and comfortable patient experience than traditional MRI.

Our MRI does not require that your whole body be placed in a tube. We are often able to schedule same day testing, especially for self pay patients not requiring prior authorization from insurance. Results are usually available in 24-48 hours. We do not offer MRI’s with contrast.

We have three Podiatrists on site. If you call ahead, you can often schedule an appointment to follow up on the MRI immediately after the scan is completed. Please note that if you want the MRI billed through your insurance, we need an order from one of our physicians or an outside physician. If you’d like to have the MRI without an order, the self-pay rate is $325.
