Dr. Dan Preece, DPM
Podiatrist, Foot and Ankle Surgeon, and Certified Wound Specialist Physician located in Salt Lake City, UT
Dr. Preece completed his undergraduate degree at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, graduating summa cum laude and as class valedictorian. He performed his residency through the Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) Podiatry Residency Program in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Preece is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as a Certified Wound Specialist Physician by the American Board of Wound Management. He’s a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medicine Association, as well as a board member of the Utah Podiatric Medical Association. A volunteer faculty member at IMC Podiatry Residency Program, he provides surgical and clinical training for podiatry residents.
A noted lecturer, Dr. Preece has delivered more than 10 case presentations at the IMC Podiatric Residency Program. He’s proud to work with students and develop training materials for the next generation of podiatrists.
When he isn’t lecturing or helping patients, Dr. Preece enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
